| Job Description | : | Strong knowledge of core ABAP Programming (Reports, Function Modules, SAP Scripts, BDC, DDIC) Dialog Programming and ALV OOPs Good knowledge of code optimization Good hands on various SAP/ABAP tools (EPC, Code Inspector) ABAP development and technical specification mastery Ability to do good technical design Strong analytical and debugging skills. You will be involved in design and development of applications. You will be expected to develop conceptual understanding of the entire system under development, its business usage, technical architecture, performance and functionality related issues. You will be involved in coding and debugging based on the conceptual understanding of the design. You will be expected to have good understanding of the fundamentals of SDLC and be able to develop simple algorithms and data structures independently. You will be expected to have strong Unit Testing and trouble shooting abilities. Mandatory\ Desirable Skill: 1 . Very Good Technical Knowledge of SAP BI, including what, how & why of solutions 2 . Willingness to get involved in technical activities like solution definition, reviews and if required development of complex components 3 . Ability to think out of the box and propose solutions (Technical, Functional & Process wise) 4 . Awareness of Offshore model of working 5 . Quality Management in terms of Indentifying gaps in requirement, doing reviews & testing, both for self & team 6 . Process of Estimation, planning, scheduling & tracking 7 . Risk Management 8 . Resource Management 9 . Monitoring & Control in terms of budget & timelines Technical Skills: Should have worked on Implementation / Application support & Maintenance with good knowledge of a) Deep knowledge of Data loads and effective monitoring. b) Resolve data load issues and be able to resolve them within limited time window. c) Should have knowledge of custom extractor based on function module d) ABAP hands on experience e) Experience on Transformation, Routines f) Worked on SAP BI 7.0 and SAP BW 3.1 g) At least one end to end implementation. h) Experience on BW Testing i) Experience on BEx and query creation j) BW statistics k) Good written & verbal communication l) Continuous leaing & Problem solving skills good exposure of Development/Maintenance/Support projects. Must come from good technical background on SAP ABAP. Good understanding of core and advance ABAP concepts. Strong exposure of different lifecycle of Project Management (Project planning, initiation, Estimation, Budgeting, Scope management, resource planning etc.) Must be well versed with optimizing programs, improving profitability & retention. Good to have understanding of CMM/CMMi/Six Sigma processes |
| Desired Profile | : | Good experience of development on AS/400 / iSeries (Preferably using COBOL) CLP Programming for iSeries (or AS400) Ability to troubleshoot and fix Development, Testing environment Should have Prior experience of Product Development and/or Maintenance and support of applications Good Communication Skills. |
