Job Description:
Within the first year
  • The Director, APAC Sales will assume a leaderhip sales role in the region, responsible for meeting/exceeding quarterly revenue & design win quota as defined by AOP/quota.
  • Work with telco’s in region to understand technology and deployment schedules.
  • Win designs at top major customers on new technologies, i.e., Landshark, Node Scale Vectoring, etc.
  • Attract and hire staff according to AOP, motivate and maintain existing staff in region.
  • Have excellent working relationships with senior mgmt at key customers in region, i.e., ZTE, Huwawei, etc.
Desired Profile:Responsibilities:Meet and/or exceed APAC Region targets on a quarterly basis through revenue generation and design wins.Effectively build and execute sales plans and team strategies that include all sales personnel and FAE\'s in assigned to the territory.Lea and maintain in-depth knowledge of product and service offerings, competition, and industry trends and define oals and objectives based on this intelligence.Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify critical account and opportunity information.Maintain current and accurate account and contact information.Build and manage a sales pipeline, including regular revenue forecast updates.Responsible for monthly submission of APAC Region forecast and Quarterly Incentive program submissions for the APAC team.You Are:Highly motivated and experienced in broadband and telecommunications.A sales leader with 10+ years experience selling semiconductor and networking technology directly to broadband access equipments OEM/ODM in APAC region.Motivated by successfully overcoming customer objections with demonstrated experience taking on adverse and highly competitive situations.Ability to attract, recruit, develop and manage talent in the APAC regionYou possess outstanding time management and organizational skills.An exceptional written and verbal communicator, ability to speak, read & write English and Chinese preferredProactive and take the initiative to achieve and exceed goals.Manage multiple tasks at once while continuing to be flexible and self-sufficient.You have a positive attitude, self motivated, confident and tenacious.High energy and the ability to adapt to ongoing changes and juggle multiple sales and country priorities.Ability to follow and develop sales processes.Travel, up to 30%
