Job Details Job Description : Bachelor's degree in (computer science, software engineering or similar) or Masters or Equivalent degree. 8 - 10 year minimum industry experience of software development, including a minimum of 4 years project management and 2 years people management; underpinned by strong technical background. Desirable Industry experience includes, software engineering for a products & services for the telecommunications OSS or BSS. Good working knowledge on OSS / BSS landscapes, Java, Frameworks, J2EE, Oracle on all mode OSs environments. Able to take full ownership and manage the team through challenging issues under pressure, provide technical oversight, guidance steer. Exposure to known product development processes and methodology is required, exhibiting strong knowledge of all phases of different software development life cycles. Able to, understand, own and maintain process and to practice process improvement initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory. Strong experience of SharePoint, Excel and MS Project is required, experience of other EPM tools is desirable. Exposure to component based software development and re-use and the challenges this presents to configuration management, impact analysis and change control would be a significant advantage.
